About Us
Forest City Men's Shed is a grassroots community group based in London, Ontario, dedicated to fostering
connection, purpose, and well-being among men through shared activities and conversation. Launched in Fall
2024, our Shed offers a welcoming space for men of all backgrounds to gather, work on projects, learn new
skills, and build meaningful relationships in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.
Guided by the motto “A Space to Connect, Create and Grow”, we aim to reduce isolation, promote mental
wellness, and support men in finding a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Forest City Men's Shed is a
proud member of the broader Men's Sheds movement, which is growing across Ontario and worldwide.
Our Partnerships
The Forest City Men's Shed has built meaningful partnerships with local organizations and businesses in London to support its mission of fostering connection, skill-sharing, and well-being among men. One key partner is BGC London, which generously provides a welcoming space for members to gather, socialize, and build community through regular meetings and activities. Another valued partner is Lee Valley Tools, which offers access to a workshop where members can collaborate on woodworking projects, share expertise, and continue learning hands-on skills in a supportive environment. These partnerships are vital in creating opportunities for connection, purpose, and creativity for the men involved.
